Second shipment to Portland
The first shipment with products of the Damn Good Soap was almost sold out in the MadeHerePDX and so we had to follow up with a second one.
Because one of our partners - Ryan - is in PDX for our second trade mission, he personally dropped by the MadeHerePDX store to drop off the products.
Visitor from Portland
Martha Pellegrino from the city of Portland came over to visit Utrecht on Tuesday the 14th of June. Martha Pellegrino is the Director of Government Relations of the city of Portland and oversees the city’s federal, state, and intergovernmental lobbying efforts.
We guided Martha through Utrecht and set up meeting with some of the Utrecht makers that want to conquer the Portland market. Of course, one of the meetings was with our own Jasper of the Damn Good Soap Company. This meeting was very succesful as she invited Jasper to come over to Portland in september to check out how we can expand further.
Presentation PUN Event
Tuesday the 31st of May BLI partners was present at the PUN event in Utrecht. PUN is the abbreviation of the Portland - Utrecht Network. The PUN was founded to establish a sister relationship between the cities.

BLI was invited by the city of Utrecht to get to know the makers and present the BLI business to them. It was great fun meeting all of them and seeing lots potential and interest in expanding their business by Utrecht makers.
